# WingtraOne GEN II

These steps connect a WingtraOne GEN II to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using WingtraPilot / WingtraHub. They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* WingtraPilot / WingtraHub.
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Understand how NTRIP fits Wingtra (read first): The WingtraOne GEN II is a PPK (Post-Processed Kinematic) drone, not an in-flight RTK drone. There's no place in WingtraPilot to type an NTRIP caster into the aircraft, and the drone doesn't receive live corrections in flight. Instead, Premium Positioning's NTRIP stream is used to log a base-station record on the ground, which you convert to RINEX and feed into WingtraHub after the flight. The caster details go into your NTRIP base/logging receiver, never into the drone.
2. Confirm your hardware is PPK-enabled: In WingtraPilot, open a flight plan and check PPK is available/enabled (PPK-tagged projects later show a 'PPK' label in WingtraHub). All GEN II units ship with the high-precision GNSS module, so no caster goes into the aircraft - just make sure PPK logging is on for the flight.
3. Set up a ground base receiver to record corrections: You need a base-station RINEX log covering your flight window. Simplest network option: put a GNSS receiver (e.g. an NTRIP-capable rover used as a logging base) on a point and have it pull corrections from Premium Positioning's caster while logging raw data. Connect that receiver's app/controller to the internet (hotspot or Wi-Fi).
4. Enter the caster settings on your base/logging receiver: In your receiver's NTRIP client: Host rtkpremium.xyz, Port 2101, Mountpoint COMMON, Protocol NTRIP. The same for every customer.
5. Enter YOUR OWN NTRIP username and password: Type the NTRIP username/password from your welcome email into the same NTRIP client - unique to your account; do not use anyone else's. Connect and confirm the receiver is receiving COMMON.
6. Fly the WingtraOne mission as normal: Plan and fly your mapping mission in WingtraPilot. The drone records its own raw GNSS observations on the SD card. Keep your ground base receiver logging continuously for the whole flight window (and a few minutes either side).
7. Collect base and flight data: After landing, download the base receiver's log and convert/export to RINEX (2.11 or newer) if needed (files ending .o, .n, .g). Remove the camera SD card and copy the WingtraPilotProjects folder to your computer (an SSD speeds processing).
8. Open WingtraHub and start Geotagging: Launch the WingtraHub Windows app and select the 'Geotagging' tab. Point it at the 'WingtraPilotProjects' folder. PPK-enabled projects show a 'PPK' label.
9. Select projects and confirm PPK processing: Pick the project(s) and click 'Next'. Make sure the 'PPK processing' checkbox is selected and the 'PPK ready' indicator appears.
10. Load your base-station RINEX files: Click '+' next to the base file selection and add all RINEX files from your session. WingtraHub checks version, time overlap with the flight, baseline distance and antenna type - confirm the time window covers your flight.
11. Set the base location (coordinates): Click '+' next to 'Base location' and choose 'Add new'. Enter high-precision coordinates manually (Wingtra recommends WGS84 ellipsoidal height) or 'Import from RINEX base file(s)'. For manual entry, set 'Antenna offset up' and the ARP-APC offset if not auto-detected. Accurate base coordinates are essential.
12. Run geotagging: Click 'Start geotagging'. WingtraHub processes the flight using your corrected base data and writes the project's /OUTPUT folder: a projectname.csv (Pix4D/Agisoft format) plus a geotagging.pdf report.
13. Confirm the PPK fix (Wingtra's equivalent of 'RTK Fix'): Open geotagging.pdf and check the PPK fix percentage and accuracy. A high fixed-solution percentage with cm-level accuracy means the corrections applied successfully. A low fix rate usually means a base/flight time mismatch, too long a baseline, or wrong base coordinates - re-check the RINEX time window and the 'Base location' values.

### If the fix will not hold

Important: WingtraOne GEN II is a PPK workflow, not in-flight network RTK - the drone doesn't consume an NTRIP stream while flying, so the caster settings go into your ground base/logging receiver, not WingtraPilot. WingtraHub is Windows-only. Screen names follow current Wingtra docs but vary slightly by version. If you specifically need real-time RTK rather than PPK, contact Premium Positioning support, as that isn't a standard GEN II capability.
