# Unistrong G970 II

These steps connect an Unistrong G970 II to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using eGPS / UFO field app (SurvX-style, Android). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* eGPS / UFO field app (SurvX-style, Android).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Power on and get online: Charge and power on the G970 II. On your Android controller/phone, connect to mobile data or Wi-Fi and confirm internet. The phone provides the internet link that carries the corrections; no SIM is needed in the receiver.
2. Open the field app: Launch the Unistrong field app (eGPS / UFO, or the SurvX/EGStar-style app supplied with the unit). Open/create a job if prompted.
3. Connect to the receiver via Bluetooth: Go to the Device (or Connect/Communication) menu. Set Device Type to your Unistrong receiver, connection Bluetooth, tap Search, select your G970 II by serial number, Connect. Wait for connected. Labels vary slightly by version.
4. Set the receiver to Rover: In Device open Rover (or Work Mode > Rover) so the receiver receives corrections. Confirm Rover mode before continuing.
5. Set the Data Link to the phone's internet: Set Data Link to the network/internet option - 'Phone Internet', 'Network', 'Phone(Internet)' or 'Controller Internet' - routing corrections over your phone's data rather than a radio/modem.
6. Choose the NTRIP / CORS protocol: Set the Protocol (Server type) to NTRIP (some versions label it CORS - same internet-correction protocol).
7. Enter the caster host and port: Host (IP/Address): rtkpremium.xyz and Port: 2101. Leave any 'use TLS/proxy' options off unless told otherwise.
8. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: Enter the NTRIP username/password from YOUR welcome email - unique to your account; don't use anyone else's or leave blank. Contact Premium Positioning if you can't find your welcome email.
9. Get the source table: Tap 'Get Source Table' (or 'Get Access Point' / 'Get Mountpoint' / the refresh icon). The app connects and downloads the mountpoints.
10. Select mountpoint COMMON: From the source-table list select COMMON. If it doesn't appear, re-check host, port and credentials, then fetch again.
11. Apply and connect: Tap Apply / OK / Connect to start the NTRIP connection and stream corrections to the receiver.
12. Confirm a Fixed solution: Watch the status bar move Single → Float → Fixed (RTK Fixed), usually 10 - 60 s outdoors with clear sky. 'Fixed' confirms cm RTK. If it stays Single/Float, check internet signal, sky view, and that COMMON and your credentials are correct.

### If the fix will not hold

The G970 II ships with a SurvX/EGStar-family Android app (branded eGPS or UFO); menu/button names follow that standard flow but exact wording can vary by app/firmware version - look for the equivalent option. A clear, open-sky view and stable mobile data are needed to reach Fixed.
