# u-blox ZED-F9P via u-center

These steps connect an u-blox ZED-F9P via u-center (PC) to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using u-blox u-center (Windows). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* u-blox u-center (Windows).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Use classic u-center: On Windows, install and open the classic u-center (the one for F9 receivers). u-blox also ships u-center 2, but for the ZED-F9P use classic u-center, which has the built-in NTRIP Client used here. Labels below are from classic u-center; match by meaning if yours differs.
2. Connect antenna and receiver: Connect the GNSS antenna (clear, open sky) to the ZED-F9P, then plug the receiver into the PC via USB. Windows assigns a COM port; check Device Manager > Ports (COM & LPT) if unsure.
3. Open the COM port in u-center: Select the receiver's COM port from the toolbar dropdown (or Receiver > Connection). Live data should update. The ZED-F9P USB port typically uses 38400 baud if asked.
4. Confirm a basic position fix: Open View > Docking Windows > Data. Confirm the receiver is tracking satellites and Fix Mode shows 3D before adding corrections.
5. Open the NTRIP Client dialog: Menu bar > Receiver > NTRIP Client to open the configuration dialog. (If not there, look under the Receiver menu for an NTRIP / NTRIP Client entry.)
6. Enter the caster address and port: Set the NTRIP caster/server address to rtkpremium.xyz and the Port to 2101. Leave the protocol as standard NTRIP.
7. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: Type the NTRIP username and password from your welcome email into the Username and Password fields - unique to your account; do not use anyone else's. If you can't find them, contact support.
8. Update the source table: Click Update source table (or Update / Get source table). u-center contacts the caster and downloads the mountpoints; wait a few seconds.
9. Select the COMMON mountpoint: From the NTRIP mount point dropdown (or the Mount point details button), select COMMON - the mountpoint serving network corrections to all customers.
10. Apply and connect: Click OK to apply. u-center connects to the caster and streams RTCM corrections into the ZED-F9P.
11. Confirm corrections are flowing: The NTRIP client icon at the bottom of the u-center window turns green when corrections are received. If it stays red/grey, re-check address, port, mountpoint, credentials, and that the antenna has open sky.
12. Watch Fix Mode reach RTK FIXED: In the Data view watch Fix Mode move 3D → 3D/DGNSS → RTK FLOAT → RTK FIXED. FIXED (cm-level) confirms the receiver is fully connected to the caster and working.

### If the fix will not hold

Use classic u-center (not u-center 2) for the ZED-F9P. A clear sky view and stable internet are required; reaching FLOAT then FIXED can take from seconds to a couple of minutes. Menu/button labels vary slightly by u-center version - match by function.
