# Trimble GFX-750 / XCN-1050 (Precision-IQ)

These steps connect a Trimble GFX-750 / XCN-1050 (Precision-IQ) to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using Precision-IQ. They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* Precision-IQ.
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Have your details ready: You need your personal NTRIP username and password (from your PP welcome email) plus a working internet connection for the display. The caster details are the same for every customer; only your username/password are unique.
2. Get the display online (Wi-Fi or modem): NTRIP arrives over the internet, so connect the display first. On the GFX-750 / XCN-1050 (Android-based), swipe down from the top and open Wi-Fi settings, then join a hotspot or Wi-Fi network (e.g. your phone's hotspot or an in-cab modem). If you use a built-in/connected cellular modem, confirm it shows a data connection. Wording varies by firmware - the goal is live internet.
3. Open Precision-IQ and go to GNSS settings: From the Launcher tap Precision-IQ. On the Home screen tap the GNSS tile (on some firmware via Settings > GNSS Setup). The GNSS details page shows the NAV-900 receiver and current correction source.
4. Edit the correction source: On the GNSS details page tap Edit. The Corrections option is selected by default; the Correction Source / Service is set to Autonomous - you'll change this to an internet RTK source.
5. Select the internet / NTRIP correction source: Tap Correction Service (Correction Source on some versions) to open the list and choose the internet RTK option - shown as an NTRIP / Internet / VRS entry, or under a Modem setting as 'Third Party NTRIP Modem'. Pick the option that lets you type a server address, port and mountpoint (not a radio frequency or satellite service). If unsure which entry, contact Premium Positioning support first.
6. Enter the caster server address: In the server field (Server Name/Address, Server, or IP Address depending on firmware), enter exactly: rtkpremium.xyz
7. Enter the caster port: In the port field (Server Port Number, Port, or IP Port), enter exactly: 2101
8. Enter or select the mountpoint: In the Mountpoint field enter exactly: COMMON (capitals). If the display offers a button to retrieve the source table once server and port are entered, tap it and choose COMMON. The protocol is standard NTRIP - leave any NTRIP version setting on its default (auto).
9. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: Type the NTRIP username and password from your welcome email - unique to your account, case-sensitive; do not share them. If lost, contact Premium Positioning to reissue.
10. Save the settings: Apply/confirm (tick/Save), then tap Home. The receiver attempts to connect over the internet and start streaming corrections.
11. Let the receiver connect and converge: With the vehicle outdoors under clear sky, watch the GNSS status indicator on the Home screen move from Autonomous toward a corrected solution. The first connection can take a short while.
12. Confirm RTK Fixed: Check the GNSS status / accuracy indicator until it reports RTK Fixed (cm-level). That confirms the COMMON corrections from rtkpremium.xyz are being received and applied. If it stays Autonomous/converging, recheck the internet connection, then server / port / mountpoint and your credentials.

### If the fix will not hold

Screen/button/field names vary by display model and Precision-IQ firmware ('Correction Service' vs 'GNSS Setup', an 'NTRIP/Internet' entry vs 'Third Party NTRIP Modem') - described generically where they differ. The display needs live internet (Wi-Fi/hotspot or a connected cellular modem). If anything on your screen doesn't match, contact Premium Positioning before changing other settings.
