# Tersus Oscar / David

These steps connect a Tersus Oscar / David to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using Nuwa app (Android). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* Nuwa app (Android).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Charge and power on the receiver: Make sure your Tersus Oscar (or David) is charged and powered on. On your Android device, install and open the Tersus Survey "Nuwa" app, and enable Bluetooth and mobile data.
2. Connect the receiver over Bluetooth: In Nuwa tap \[Device] > \[Connect]. Set the device type to your model (Oscar or David), choose Bluetooth, tap the search icon and select your receiver's Bluetooth address. Tap \[Connect] and wait for connected status. The antenna model is selected automatically.
3. Open the Rover work mode: Tap \[Device] > \[Rover] (in some versions under \[Config] or \[Survey]) to open the Work Mode list. Tap \[New]/\[Add] for a fresh rover profile, or open an existing one to edit.
4. Set the Datalink to the phone's internet: Set the Datalink used to receive corrections. To use the phone's mobile data choose \[PhoneNetwork] / \[PDA Network] (label differs by version). To use the receiver's own SIM choose \[Receiver Network]. Don't choose Internal Radio for NTRIP.
5. Choose the NTRIP protocol: Set the data-link Protocol to \[NTRIP] (Nuwa also offers TCP and TCS, but our service uses NTRIP).
6. Enter the caster address and port: IP / Address / Domain: rtkpremium.xyz. Port: 2101. Leave protocol NTRIP. These caster details are the same for every customer.
7. Enter your personal NTRIP username and password: In User and Password type YOUR OWN NTRIP credentials from your Premium Positioning welcome email - unique to your account. If you can't find them, contact support.
8. Retrieve the source table and select the mountpoint: Tap the refresh icon (or \[Get] / source-table button) next to Mount Point. Nuwa downloads the available mountpoints. Select COMMON. If empty, re-check the address, port, username/password and that the phone has internet.
9. Save and apply the configuration: Tap \[OK]/\[Confirm]/\[Save] to store the config and return to the Work Mode list. Select (tick) this configuration to make it active - Nuwa starts the rover and connects to the NTRIP service.
10. Confirm the NTRIP connection is live: The app shows the rover connecting and receiving correction data; a data/connection indicator shows activity once the mountpoint is streaming.
11. Watch the solution status climb to Fixed: Go to the \[Survey] screen. The status progresses Single → Float → Fixed. Possible states are Single, DGPS, Float and Fixed.
12. Verify Fixed before you measure: Only record points once it reads Fixed with cm-level HRMS/VRMS. If it stays Float/Single, confirm open sky, good mobile signal, the COMMON mountpoint, and correct credentials.

### If the fix will not hold

Nuwa names vary by version (rover setup may be under Device, Config or Survey; the mobile-data datalink is 'PhoneNetwork' in newer builds and 'PDA Network' in older; 'Get source table' may be a refresh icon next to Mount Point). For NTRIP over the phone use PhoneNetwork/PDA Network; use Receiver Network only if the receiver has its own SIM. Fixed needs clear sky and a stable internet connection.

### Need help

Support is available 24/7. Include your receiver model, the mountpoint, the solution status, and the correction age when you get in touch.
