# Tersus Luka / David

These steps connect a Tersus Luka / David to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using Nuwa app (Android). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* Nuwa app (Android).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Power on and pair over Bluetooth first: Turn on the Luka (or David) receiver and your Android phone/tablet. In the phone's system Settings you can pre-pair the receiver's Bluetooth (its name usually starts with 'TersusGNSS-' plus the serial), but Nuwa can also discover and pair it in the next step.
2. Open Nuwa and create or open a project: Launch Nuwa. Go to the Project tab and open an existing project, or tap New, enter a name, pick a coordinate system, and confirm. A project must be active before you connect.
3. Connect to the receiver (Device > Connect): Tap the Device tab, then Connect. Set Device Type to 'Luka' (or 'David'), Connect Type to 'Bluetooth', then tap Connect Config and use Search to find and select your receiver's Bluetooth name; pair if prompted. Leave Antenna on the default. Tap Connect. Labels vary slightly by Nuwa version.
4. Open the rover (NTRIP client) configuration (Device > Rover): Once connected, tap Device > Rover. Tap New to create a configuration (or select an existing one and tap Detail/Edit) - where the device is told to receive corrections from our caster over the internet.
5. Set the data link to use the phone's internet: Set Data Link to a network option. On Luka the choices are typically 'Receiver Network' (the receiver's own SIM/data) or 'PDA Network' (your phone's internet); on David it may simply read 'Network'. For most customers using the phone's data, choose the phone-internet option (PDA Network) - wording varies by version.
6. Choose the NTRIP protocol: Set Protocol Type to 'Ntrip' (sometimes 'NTRIP'). Do not choose TCP or TCS - those are for other correction services, not our NTRIP caster.
7. Enter the caster Host and Port: In the Host field type rtkpremium.xyz (or tap the small IP icon at the end of the row to enter it). Set Port to 2101. These two values are the same for every customer.
8. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: In the Username and Password fields, enter the personal NTRIP credentials from your welcome email - unique to you; do not use anyone else's. If you can't find them, contact support.
9. Fetch the mount point list: Tap the refresh/update icon next to the Mount Point field (may be labelled 'Update SourceTable'). Nuwa connects with your credentials and downloads the source table. If nothing loads, re-check the host, port, username and password.
10. Select the COMMON mount point: From the Mount Point dropdown, select COMMON - the same for everyone. If you don't see it, refresh the source table again and confirm your credentials.
11. Save / start the rover configuration: Confirm the configuration (tap OK), then Start/apply it so the receiver begins requesting corrections. Leave the RTCM1021/1023/1025 and 'Is VRS' checkboxes at defaults unless support tells you otherwise.
12. Confirm a Fixed solution: Go to the Survey tab or Satellite Info > Position. The status moves Single → Float → Fixed once corrections flow and enough satellites are tracked. 'Fixed' (with low HRMS/VRMS, typically a few cm) means full RTK accuracy. Reaching Fixed usually takes a few seconds to a couple of minutes outdoors with clear sky.

### If the fix will not hold

Use outdoors with a clear view of the sky. Menu/field names differ slightly between Nuwa versions and between Luka and David - match the closest equivalent (the network data-link option that uses your phone's internet, and the 'NTRIP' protocol). If you can't reach Fixed, check Host/Port/credentials, mobile data, re-fetch the source table, and confirm COMMON is selected.
