# SuperSurv (Android)

These steps connect a SuperSurv (Android) to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using SuperSurv app. They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* SuperSurv app.
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Pair your receiver in Android first: Power on your external Bluetooth GNSS receiver. In Android Settings > Bluetooth, scan for and pair the receiver - SuperSurv requires Bluetooth to be on and pairing already done before it can use the device. Make sure the tablet also has internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to reach the caster.
2. Open GPS Settings in SuperSurv: Launch SuperSurv and open the 'GPS Settings' menu. By default it uses the device's Internal GPS; this is where you switch to your external receiver and configure corrections.
3. Select your external receiver as the signal source: In GPS Settings, use the 'Signal Source' drop-down to select your paired Bluetooth receiver instead of Internal GPS. For device type, choose your receiver's brand if listed (e.g. U-Blox, Hemisphere, NovAtel); otherwise choose 'General Device', which works with any receiver outputting standard NMEA.
4. Connect over Bluetooth: Confirm the Bluetooth connection to the selected receiver. The GPS status bar at the top of the map should show live position from the external receiver. If nothing appears, re-check the Android pairing and that the correct device is chosen in Signal Source.
5. Open the NTRIP / correction settings: Still in GPS Settings, go to the NTRIP service section (correction-source settings) - where you enter the caster so SuperSurv can pull RTCM corrections and forward them to your receiver over Bluetooth.
6. Enter the caster host and port: Host (IP/server) = rtkpremium.xyz, Port = 2101, Protocol = NTRIP - the same for every customer.
7. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: Type the NTRIP username and password from your welcome email into the username/password fields - unique to your account, case-sensitive; do not share or use anyone else's. If lost, contact support.
8. Get the mountpoint list: Tap the 'Get MountPoint' button. SuperSurv connects to the caster and retrieves the source table - confirming host, port and credentials are correct. If it fails to load, re-check host/port and re-type your credentials.
9. Select the COMMON mountpoint: From the retrieved list select 'COMMON' - the mountpoint used for all Premium Positioning customers. Apply/confirm.
10. Turn on the NTRIP service: Enable the NTRIP service. SuperSurv receives RTCM corrections over the internet and forwards them to your receiver via Bluetooth, where the module applies them.
11. Confirm a Fixed, centimetre-level solution: Watch the solution-type indicator at the top of the map. It should progress autonomous → differential/float → Fixed (RTK). Wait until it reports Fixed at cm-level before collecting points. If it stays on Float, allow more time with clear sky; if it never moves past autonomous, re-check that the NTRIP service is on and COMMON and your credentials are correct.

### If the fix will not hold

Verified against SuperGeo's official SuperSurv docs for the labels 'GPS Settings', the 'Signal Source' drop-down, the 'General Device' option, the IP/Port fields, the 'Get MountPoint' button, and the NTRIP service toggle. Username/password field labels vary slightly by SuperSurv version - enter them in the NTRIP credential fields. SuperSurv acts as the NTRIP client and relays corrections to the receiver over Bluetooth, so both internet and a stable Bluetooth link are required.
