# Spectra SP90m

These steps connect a Spectra SP90m to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using Survey Pro / Spectra Geospatial Origin. They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* Survey Pro / Spectra Geospatial Origin.
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Power on and pair the SP90m: Switch on the SP90m and your data collector. In your field software (Origin, or Survey Pro / FAST Survey) connect to the receiver via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi as usual. Pairing screens vary by app/version - use your normal connect-to-receiver workflow.
2. Get the receiver online: The SP90m has an internal cellular modem and Wi-Fi. Insert an activated SIM (receiver or controller) and bring up cellular data, or join a Wi-Fi network with internet. In Origin this is the 'GNSS internet source'; in Survey Pro it's the internet/data-link connection.
3. Open the rover survey style / data link: Origin: menu > Settings / Survey styles > select your RTK style > Edit. Survey Pro / FAST Survey: open the GNSS rover / data link configuration. Match the equivalent 'network RTK rover' area in your software.
4. Set the data link to Internet: Origin: select Rover data link, set Type to 'Internet connection'. Survey Pro / FAST Survey: choose the internet/NTRIP data link type (often 'Network' or 'Internet').
5. Open the NTRIP correction source: Origin: tap the context menu next to GNSS correction source, set Use RTX (internet) to No and Use NTRIP to Yes. Survey Pro / FAST Survey: choose NTRIP as the correction/network type.
6. Enter the caster host and port: Host / IP Address: rtkpremium.xyz - IP Port: 2101 - Protocol: NTRIP. In Origin these are the IP Address and IP port fields; in Survey Pro / FAST Survey the NTRIP server address and port.
7. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: In NTRIP username and NTRIP password, enter the credentials from your welcome email - unique to your account. Leave GGA/identity options at defaults unless told otherwise.
8. Save the connection and connect: Origin: Store the correction source, point the GNSS internet source at your live cellular/Wi-Fi connection, tap Accept, then Store the style.
9. Start the RTK survey: Origin: menu > Measure (choose your RTK style if prompted) > Measure points. Survey Pro / FAST Survey: start the survey / connect to the network. You'll see a 'Connecting to GNSS internet source' message.
10. Select the COMMON mountpoint: When the source table loads, select COMMON. (Origin can preset it: set 'Connect directly to Mountpoint' to Yes and enter COMMON to skip the prompt next time.)
11. Confirm corrections are streaming: The data-link icon appears on the status bar and incoming data shows. If it fails, re-check host/port/mountpoint and credentials, and that the receiver still has internet.
12. Wait for and verify a Fixed solution: With enough satellites and corrections, the SP90m initialises on-the-fly and the solution changes from Autonomous/Float to Fixed. Confirm the status reads Fixed (cm-level) before recording points.

### If the fix will not hold

SP90m has an internal cellular modem and Wi-Fi, so corrections can run over a SIM or Wi-Fi. Field/menu names differ between Origin, Survey Pro and FAST Survey and between versions - this guide names Origin's labels precisely and describes the others generically; match the equivalent option. If it won't fix, confirm internet, the caster details, and credentials.
