Septentrio mosaic-go / mosaic-X5
These steps connect a Septentrio mosaic-go / mosaic-X5 to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using Built-in NTRIP client (web interface). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.
Before you start
Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
Built-in NTRIP client (web interface).
A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.
Network settings
These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.
Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
Port: 2101
Mountpoint: COMMON
Protocol: NTRIP
Steps
Power and connect the receiver: Connect the mosaic to your computer with the USB cable (on ArduSimple-style boards use the POWER+GPS port). The receiver presents as an Ethernet-over-USB device; install the Septentrio USB driver first if it isn't detected. The USB link both powers the board and carries the web interface.
Open the web interface (RxWeb): In a browser go to http://192.168.3.1 - the default address over USB. The RxWeb dashboard loads, showing satellite tracking and position status. Over Ethernet/Wi-Fi, use the receiver's IP on that network instead.
Give the receiver internet access: The NTRIP client needs an internet path. Simplest: share your computer's connection over the same USB cable - in Communication, on the USB settings, enable 'Outgoing Internet Access Over USB', then allow internet sharing on your computer for the receiver's adapter. If the mosaic has its own Ethernet/Wi-Fi internet, skip USB sharing. (Wording varies by firmware.)
Open the NTRIP settings: Go to the Corrections menu and select NTRIP (on some firmware Communication > NTRIP / NTRIP Client).
Create a new NTRIP client: Click 'New NTRIP client' ('+New NTRIP client' on some firmware). If a Mode field shows, set it to 'Client'.
Enter the Premium Positioning caster: Caster (host): rtkpremium.xyz, Port: 2101. Leave the protocol as standard NTRIP - the default for the mosaic NTRIP client.
Enter YOUR NTRIP credentials: In User name and Password enter the personal NTRIP credentials from your welcome email - unique to your account; do not use anyone else's.
Select the COMMON mount point: Once Caster and Port are correct, the Mount point (Stream) pull-down activates and the source table loads. Select COMMON. If empty, re-check host/port/credentials.
Set position output to the caster: Set 'Send GGA to caster' (the NMEA GGA / position-feedback option) to 'auto' so the receiver sends its approximate position and the caster returns corrections for your location. (Label varies by firmware.)
Apply the connection: Click OK (or Apply). The NTRIP Client status should change to 'Connected' and the corrections indicator should show incoming data.
Confirm RTK Fixed on the Position page: Open the Position (PVT) page and watch Autonomous → DGPS → RTK Float → RTK Fixed. 'RTK Fixed' confirms cm-level corrections are applied.
Save so it reconnects on power-up: Persist the configuration so the NTRIP client reconnects after a reboot: Admin > Configuration > Save the current settings to the boot/start-up configuration. (Wording varies by firmware.)
If the fix will not hold
If the mount-point list won't load, the usual causes are no internet on the receiver (re-check USB internet sharing) or a typo in host/port/credentials. If it reaches RTK Float but not Fixed, allow a few minutes with clear, open sky. Menu/field labels vary by firmware (Corrections/Communication, NTRIP client, Caster/host, Mount point/Stream) - match the closest equivalent.
