# SatLab SLC / Eyr

These steps connect a SatLab SLC / Eyr to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using SatLab field app (SatSurv / SurvX-style). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* SatLab field app (SatSurv / SurvX-style).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Power on and pair over Bluetooth: Switch on the SatLab SLC/Eyr and enable Bluetooth on your Android controller. Open the SatLab field app (SatSurv) and go to the device/connection screen (Device > Connect or the Communication tab). Set Manufacturer to SatLab, choose Bluetooth, search and select your receiver by serial number. Confirm connected status.
2. Open Rover settings: Go to Device (or Config) and choose Rover (in the SLC docs reached via GPS Base/Rover settings; in SatSurv the Rover work mode). Always pick Rover, not Base.
3. Set the Data Link to network/internet: Set the Data Link to a network internet option, not radio. The controller's connection is usually Phone Network / PDA Network (its SIM or Wi-Fi); the receiver's own modem is Receiver Network (in the SLC manual: Internal GSM vs Data Collect Internet). Pick the device that actually has internet. These labels can vary by SatSurv version.
4. Select the NTRIP protocol: Select NTRIP for the connection type (some SurvX-style screens label this CORS, which is the same NTRIP-client mode). Don't pick TCP/APIS or radio.
5. Enter the caster server and port: Server/Host = rtkpremium.xyz, Port = 2101. Leave any TLS/SSL toggle off unless told otherwise - this caster uses standard NTRIP on port 2101.
6. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: Enter the username/password from YOUR welcome email - unique to your account, case-sensitive. They're entered into the device only and never sent to anyone else.
7. Retrieve the source table (mountpoint list): Tap the button that fetches streams - Get Access Point, Get Source Table, or a refresh icon next to the mountpoint field. If the list comes back empty, re-check server, port, credentials and that the device has internet.
8. Select the COMMON mountpoint: From the source-table list select COMMON - the Premium Positioning correction stream. Confirm/OK to save it into the NTRIP profile.
9. Apply and connect: Confirm the settings (OK/Apply). The app connects and requests corrections. On the SLC/Eyr a successful link shows the signal LED solid green, flashing yellow as data is received.
10. Confirm a Fixed solution: On the survey/status screen watch Single → Float → Fixed (the app shows the solution state, e.g. RTK Fixed). Wait for Fixed with cm accuracy before recording points. If it stays Float, allow open-sky time and verify the mountpoint and coverage.

### If the fix will not hold

The SatLab app (SatSurv) is a SurvX-style Android app: connect/Rover/Data Link/NTRIP labels are confirmed in the SatLab SLC manual and the standard SurvX/SurvCE flow these apps share, but some wording (Phone Network vs PDA Network, Get Access Point vs Get Source Table) varies slightly between versions - pick the option matching the description. A Fixed solution needs clear sky and a stable internet connection.
