# Sanding T11 / T20

These steps connect a Sanding T11 / T20 to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using SurvX (Android). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* SurvX (Android).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Before you start: Have your Premium Positioning NTRIP username and password ready (from your welcome email). Power on the Sanding receiver, make sure the Android device running SurvX has mobile data or Wi-Fi, and that the receiver is charged. These steps follow the standard SurvX / SurPad 4.x workflow; wording may vary slightly by version.
2. Open Device > Communication: In SurvX, from the main menu tap Device, then Communication. Set the manufacturer and device type to match your Sanding receiver, then choose Bluetooth as the communication mode.
3. Pair and connect to the receiver: Tap Search to scan. When your Sanding unit's serial appears in the Bluetooth Device List, tap Stop, select that device, then tap Connect. On first connection tap Pair on the Android prompt. Wait until SurvX shows connected.
4. Open Device > Rover: From the main menu tap Device, then Rover, to open the Rover mode settings (sets the receiver to receive corrections, not Base or Static).
5. Open the Data Link settings: In the Rover screen, tap Data Link. For internet (NTRIP), choose Device Internet to use the receiver's own SIM/network, or Phone Internet to send corrections through your Android phone's data. Phone Internet is simplest if the receiver has no SIM.
6. Set the connection mode to NTRIP: In the Connect Mode area, set it to NTRIP (the standard mode for CORS networks). Leave GGA upload interval at the default (\~5 seconds).
7. Enter the caster address and port: In CORS Settings, open the server/customize option (the add or edit button) and enter the caster: Server / IP rtkpremium.xyz, Port 2101, Protocol NTRIP. Save the server entry.
8. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: Still in CORS Settings, fill in the NTRIP user and Password from YOUR welcome email - unique to your account; do not share or reuse someone else's.
9. Retrieve the mount point list: In MountPoint Settings, tap Get Mount Point (shown as Get Access Point when the data link is Phone Internet). SurvX connects and downloads the source table. If nothing loads, re-check host, port, credentials, and your internet connection.
10. Select the COMMON mount point: From the downloaded source table, select COMMON - the correct mount point for all Premium Positioning customers.
11. Apply the settings: Confirm the mount point selection, then return to the Rover screen and tap Apply. SurvX starts requesting corrections from the caster.
12. Confirm a Fixed solution: Return to the main map/survey screen and watch the solution status in the top status bar: Single → Float → Fixed within roughly 10 - 60 seconds outdoors with clear sky. Fixed means cm-level RTK and you're ready to survey. If it won't fix, check open sky, internet, host/port (rtkpremium.xyz:2101), mount point COMMON, and that your username/password were typed exactly.

### If the fix will not hold

Sanding T11 / T20 receivers run the SurvX (also branded SurPad) Android app. Menu paths/labels here are from the SurvX 4.2 / SurPad 4.2 user guide and match the standard SurvX flow; minor differences may exist between app versions and Sanding firmware.
