# Kolida K5 / K9T / K1 Pro

These steps connect a Kolida K5 / K9T / K1 Pro to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using SurvX / SurvStar (Android). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* SurvX / SurvStar (Android).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. About this app: Kolida receivers run a SurvX-family Android app (SurvX / SurvStar), sharing the same SOUTH lineage and menu structure as SOUTH SurvX and SurPad. Labels below match SurvX 4.x; wording varies slightly between versions/translations - match the nearest equivalent.
2. Power on and pair: Turn on the Kolida K5 / K9T / K1 Pro and enable Bluetooth on your Android device. You don't have to pair in Android settings first; SurvX can pair during connection.
3. Open Device > Communication: In SurvX open Device > Communication. Set the device manufacturer/type to your Kolida receiver and choose Bluetooth.
4. Connect over Bluetooth: Tap Search. When your receiver's serial number appears in the Bluetooth Device List, tap it then Connect (tap Pair if prompted). Wait for connected status.
5. Open Device > Rover: Go to Device > Rover to open the rover mode settings - where you choose how corrections reach the receiver.
6. Choose the Data Link: In Data Link choose Device Internet (receiver's own SIM/modem) or Phone Internet (your Android device's mobile data). Either works for NTRIP; pick whichever has a data connection.
7. Set Connect Mode to NTRIP: Set Connect Mode (protocol) to NTRIP. Leave the GGA upload interval at its default unless told otherwise.
8. Enter the caster address and port: In CORS / server settings: Server / IP / address: rtkpremium.xyz, Port: 2101 - the same for every customer.
9. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: In CORS Settings enter the NTRIP User and Password from your welcome email - unique to you; do not share them.
10. Get the source table: In Mount Point Settings tap Get Mount Point (shown as Get Access Point when using Phone Internet) to retrieve the source table using your credentials.
11. Select mount point COMMON: From the list choose COMMON. Confirm/apply to start receiving corrections.
12. Confirm a Fixed solution: On the survey/map screen watch the status move Single → Float → Fixed (top status bar). Once Fixed, the receiver is on the network and ready for cm work. If it stays Single/Float, recheck the data link, credentials, mount point, and your mobile data.

### If the fix will not hold

Kolida's SurvX / SurvStar is part of the SOUTH SurvX/SurPad software family, so these steps broadly apply to SOUTH and other SurvX-based controllers. Labels may differ slightly by app version; match the closest equivalent.
