# Hi-Target V200 / iRTK5 / vRTK

These steps connect a Hi-Target V200 / iRTK5 / vRTK to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using Hi-Survey Road. They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* Hi-Survey Road.
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Power up and pair the receiver: Switch on the V200 / iRTK5 / vRTK and wait for a solid satellite LED. Open Hi-Survey Road, go to the Device tab, tap Connect (sometimes 'Communication'), choose Bluetooth, search, and select your receiver's serial number. Confirm it shows connected.
2. Open a project: Open Project, create/open a project and confirm the coordinate system / datum is correct for your work. The network supplies corrections in a global frame; an incorrect local system gives a Fixed solution in the wrong place, so set this before measuring.
3. Set the receiver as a Rover (Work Mode): Go to Device > Work Mode (some versions 'Workmode' or 'Survey Mode') and choose Rover (Mobile Station).
4. Choose the data link = network/CORS: In the Rover work-mode settings open Data Link and choose a network link. Wording varies: 'Receiver Network' / 'Internal Network' uses a SIM in the receiver; 'PDA Network' / 'Phone Network' / 'Data Collector Internet' uses the controller's/phone's internet. Pick the one matching how you have internet.
5. Set the protocol to NTRIP: Set the protocol / connection type to NTRIP (not APIS or TCP/Direct). Premium Positioning is a standard NTRIP caster.
6. Enter the caster server and port: Add a new server (save it in the Server list for reuse) and enter Server / IP / Domain: rtkpremium.xyz and Port: 2101. Modern Hi-Survey versions accept a domain; if yours rejects it, contact Premium Positioning for the numeric IP.
7. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: In User / Username and Password enter the credentials from your Premium Positioning welcome email - unique to your account. Type them exactly, watching case sensitivity and trailing spaces.
8. Retrieve the source table (mount point list): Tap the control that fetches mount points - a refresh/reload icon next to the Mount Point field, or a button labelled 'Get' / 'Get Source' / 'Access Point'. The receiver connects to rtkpremium.xyz:2101 and downloads the source table. If empty, your address/port/credentials are wrong or there's no internet.
9. Select the COMMON mount point: From the Mount Point list select COMMON - Premium Positioning's correction stream. Make sure it's the highlighted/selected entry.
10. Apply and connect: Confirm with Set / OK / Apply. Hi-Survey Road sends your position (NMEA GGA) up to the caster and pulls corrections back. Look for an incoming-data / 'connected' indicator and a steadily updating correction age.
11. Check the solution status: Return to the survey/measure screen and watch the status progress Single → Float (Differential) → Fixed. Keep the antenna in open sky during this step.
12. Confirm a Fixed solution before measuring: Don't record points until the status reads Fixed with cm-level precision and a low correction age (ideally under \~3 s). If it stays Float or Single, recheck credentials, mount point, internet, and that you have open sky.

### If the fix will not hold

Labels differ between Hi-Survey Road versions and firmware - the data-link names ('Receiver Network' vs 'PDA Network' / 'Phone Network' / 'Data Collector Internet') and the source-table button ('Get' / 'Get Source' / refresh icon) in particular vary, so match by function. Use the receiver's own SIM ('Receiver Network') only if a data SIM is installed; otherwise use the controller/phone internet option. For a reliable Fixed, work in open sky, keep correction age low, and ensure the project coordinate system is correct so the Fixed position lands in the right place.
