# GINTEC G10 / KQ Geo K1

These steps connect a GINTEC G10 / KQ Geo K1 to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using SurvX-family app (Android). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* SurvX-family app (Android).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Before you start: GINTEC G10 / KQ Geo K1 receivers run a SurvX-family Android app (SurvX / SurPad / SurX, by Shanghai eSurvey). The screen names below follow the standard SurvX 4.x workflow; exact wording may differ slightly on your version, but the menu structure (Device > Communication, Device > Rover, Data Link, CORS Settings, MountPoint Settings) is the same. You'll need your own NTRIP username and password from your welcome email - do not use anyone else's.
2. Power on and get online: Turn on the receiver and your Android controller/phone. The data collector must have working mobile data or Wi-Fi, because the corrections come over the internet. If using the phone's connection (recommended), make sure mobile data is on.
3. Open the app and connect by Bluetooth: Open the SurvX-family app and go to Device > Communication. Set Device type to your receiver and Connection mode to Bluetooth. Press Search, wait for your receiver's serial to appear, press Stop, select it, then press Connect. On first use, press Pair. The indicator turns green when connected.
4. Open Rover settings: Go to Device > Rover (Rover mode settings) - where you set the receiver as a rover and where corrections come from.
5. Set the Data Link to use the internet: In the Rover screen, open Data Link and choose the internet option. 'Phone Internet' uses your controller/phone's data (simplest, recommended); 'Device Internet' uses a SIM inside the receiver if fitted. These steps assume Phone Internet.
6. Choose the NTRIP protocol: Set Connect Mode (protocol/server type) to NTRIP - the standard mode for CORS-style network corrections. If your version shows it under a CORS/server type list, pick NTRIP there.
7. Enter the caster server address and port: In CORS Settings, add/edit the server: address (IP/Domain) rtkpremium.xyz, Port 2101. Use the '+' or edit button beside CORS Settings to create a new server entry if needed.
8. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: Still in CORS Settings, enter the User name and Password exactly as in your welcome email - unique to you. Do not share or guess; if you don't have them, contact support.
9. Fetch the source table: In MountPoint Settings, press Get Access Point (Get Mount Point if you chose Device Internet). The app connects with your credentials and downloads the list of mount points. If nothing loads, recheck the server address, port, credentials, and internet.
10. Select the COMMON mount point: From the downloaded list, select COMMON - the mount point Premium Positioning uses for all customers. If COMMON doesn't appear, your login may not be active yet - contact support.
11. Apply and connect: Confirm/apply the Data Link settings (OK / Apply / Connect). The app sends your position (GGA) to the caster and begins receiving corrections.
12. Confirm a Fixed solution: Return to the survey screen and check the status bar: Single → Float → Fixed as corrections take effect (typically seconds to a minute or two with clear sky and good signal). Fixed means cm-level accuracy. If it stays Single/Float, check mobile data, sky visibility, and that COMMON is selected.

### If the fix will not hold

GINTEC G10 and KQ Geo K1 share a hardware platform and ship with a SurvX-family Android app (SurvX / SurPad / SurX by Shanghai eSurvey). Labels confirmed from the SurvX/SurPad 4.x guide, but minor wording differences exist between versions/rebrands - if a label doesn't match, use the closest equivalent ('Phone Network' vs 'Phone Internet', 'Get Mount Point' vs 'Get Access Point').
