# Geneq SXBlue III / Platinum

These steps connect a Geneq SXBlue III / Platinum to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using SXBlue app / SXBlue Toolbox (+ a GIS app). They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* SXBlue app / SXBlue Toolbox (+ a GIS app).
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Install the SXblue Toolbox app: Install Geneq's SXblue Toolbox from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). It acts as the NTRIP client and feeds corrected positions to your GIS app. Some older iOS setups use iSXblue / iSXBlue RTN - the NTRIP fields are the same, screen names may differ.
2. Power on and pair the receiver over Bluetooth: Switch on the SXblue receiver and let it acquire satellites. In Settings > Bluetooth pair the unit; if a PIN is requested for SXblue I/II/III/i/Platinum it is 12345678. You only pair once.
3. Connect the Toolbox app to the receiver: Open SXblue Toolbox and select your paired receiver as the active/running receiver (Android: top-right selector). Confirm live data (position, sky plot) appears - the app is talking to the SXblue, not the phone GPS.
4. Open the correction / differential source settings: Go to receiver configuration/settings and find the differential correction source. Choose the internet / NTRIP source (may be labelled NTRIP, DIP, or 'RTK over internet').
5. Open the NTRIP client / login credentials list: In the NTRIP (or DIP) client section, add a new NTRIP profile/entry. Saving a named profile lets you reconnect later without re-typing.
6. Enter the caster server and port: Server / Caster / Host: rtkpremium.xyz, Port: 2101. Use NTRIP (v1 if asked). No http\:// - just the hostname.
7. Enter your NTRIP username and password: Enter the NTRIP Username and Password from your welcome email exactly (case-sensitive) - unique to your account; do not share. If you can't find them, contact Premium Positioning.
8. Load the source table and select the mountpoint: Save/connect so the app retrieves the source table, then select COMMON. If you can type it directly, enter COMMON exactly (capitals).
9. Connect to the caster: Confirm/connect to start streaming. The app reports it is connected and receiving correction data. If rejected, re-check username/password and that the mountpoint is COMMON.
10. (Android only) Set the app as the mock location provider: To feed a separate GIS app on Android: enable Developer options, turn on mock locations / 'Select mock location app', and choose SXblue Toolbox. iOS does not need this - GIS apps read the SXblue position via the standard location feed.
11. Point your GIS app at the SXblue position: Open your GIS / field app and confirm it is using the external SXblue receiver / mock location rather than the built-in GPS (some apps have their own location-provider setting).
12. Confirm a fixed RTK (cm) solution: In SXblue Toolbox watch the quality status. FIX means ambiguities are resolved and you are at cm accuracy (\~1 - 2 cm). Only collect once Fixed; if it stays float/DGPS, move to open sky and re-check the caster connection.

### If the fix will not hold

A live internet connection (mobile data/Wi-Fi) is required. Menu/screen names differ between SXblue Toolbox versions, iOS vs Android, and older apps such as iSXblue RTN - match the closest equivalent (NTRIP/DIP client, differential source, mountpoint/source table). Clear sky speeds up getting and holding a fixed solution.

### Need help

Support is available 24/7. Include your receiver model, the mountpoint, the solution status, and the correction age when you get in touch.
