# CHCNAV i93 / i90 / i73

These steps connect a CHCNAV i93 / i90 / i73 to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using LandStar 7. They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* LandStar 7.
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Power on and connect the receiver: Switch on the CHCNAV receiver (i93 / i90 / i73) and the controller running LandStar 7. In LandStar 7 open Config and tap Connect. Set Manufacture to CHC, choose your receiver model, set Connection Type to Bluetooth, tap Search, select your receiver's serial number, then Connect. Wait for it to show linked and tracking satellites.
2. Open Work Mode: From the Config menu tap Work Mode. This lists saved Base/Rover profiles. You'll create or edit a Rover mode that uses an internet (NTRIP) data link.
3. Add a new Rover work mode: Tap Add (or New), set the Operating Mode to Rover (not Base or Static), and give it a name such as 'Premium Positioning NTRIP'.
4. Choose the Data Link: Set Data Link to your internet path: 'Receiver Network' if a SIM is in the receiver, or 'Phone Internet' / 'PDA Network' if the data connection comes from the controller/phone. Pick whichever device holds your internet connection.
5. Set the protocol to NTRIP: Set the Protocol (server type) to NTRIP. This exposes the NTRIP fields: server IP/host, port, mount point, username and password. (CORS/APIS are the other options - you don't need them.)
6. Create the Premium Positioning server entry: Open the server/CORS list, tap Add / '+', enter a name like 'Premium Positioning', then Server / IP / Host: rtkpremium.xyz and Port: 2101, and save. The exact 'add server' control varies by LandStar 7 version.
7. Select the server: Back on the Rover work mode, make sure the new 'Premium Positioning' server (rtkpremium.xyz : 2101) is the selected/active entry.
8. Enter YOUR NTRIP credentials: In Username and Password type the personal NTRIP login from your Premium Positioning welcome email (case-sensitive, unique to your account).
9. Retrieve the source table (mount point list): Tap the refresh icon next to the Mount Point field (some versions label it 'Get source table' or 'Get access point'). LandStar 7 connects and downloads the list. If it stays empty, re-check host, port, credentials, and that the device has internet.
10. Select the COMMON mount point: From the Mount Point list, select COMMON - the Premium Positioning correction stream your rover will use.
11. Apply the work mode: Tap OK / Apply / Save, then start/activate it so LandStar 7 requests corrections from rtkpremium.xyz:2101 on COMMON. The status bar should show data being received (the age-of-corrections indicator updates).
12. Confirm a Fixed solution: Watch the top status bar progress Single → Float → Fixed, typically within seconds to a minute or two with good sky view. Once Fixed with a low age-of-corrections, the rover is ready for cm-accurate work.

### If the fix will not hold

If no mount points appear when you refresh, the usual causes are a typo in the host (rtkpremium.xyz) or port (2101), wrong credentials, or no internet on the device carrying the data link. If you reach Float but never Fixed, move to clearer sky away from buildings and trees. Button/field names differ slightly between LandStar 7 versions (e.g. 'Phone Internet' vs 'PDA Network', a refresh icon vs a 'Get source table' button); the Config → Work Mode → Rover → Data Link → NTRIP → server → credentials → mount point → apply sequence is the same.
