# Ag Leader InCommand GPS 6500

These steps connect an Ag Leader InCommand (GPS 6500 / SteerCommand) to the Premium Positioning correction network over NTRIP, using InCommand display. They assume you already have your NTRIP credentials.

### Before you start

* Your NTRIP username and password, from your Premium Positioning welcome email or your account on the customer portal.
* InCommand display.
* A working internet connection on the controller or phone.
* A clear view of the sky at the point you are measuring.

### Network settings

These are the same for every Premium Positioning customer. Only your username and password are unique to you.

* Server or host: rtkpremium.xyz
* Port: 2101
* Mountpoint: COMMON
* Protocol: NTRIP

### Steps

1. Get an internet connection in the cab first: NTRIP reaches the display over the internet, so the InCommand must be online: a built-in/connected cellular modem (e.g. InCommand Go) with a data plan, or an Ag Leader Relay (CDMA/GSM) paired to the GPS 6500. Confirm signal before continuing. The cellular/relay status wording varies by display/firmware.
2. Open Setup: From the main run screen, tap the Setup icon (the red square with a wrench).
3. Go to the GPS/Guidance Setup tab: Tap the GPS/Guidance Setup tab (GPS/steering-wheel icon). The GPS/Guidance Setup window opens with Steering, Receiver, and other options.
4. Open the receiver's GPS Settings: Under the Receiver drop-down (often 'Autodetect' or your GPS 6500), tap the wrench icon to its right. The GPS Settings dialog opens with tabs such as General, Port A, Port B.
5. Set the Differential Source to RTK External: On General, open the Differential Source drop-down (may read 'WAAS/EGNOS') and select 'RTK External' so the GPS 6500 takes RTK from the display's NTRIP client. Tap the Go Back arrow to return.
6. Open the NTRIP client: On GPS/Guidance Setup, tap the 'Ag Leader NTRIP Setup' button. The NTRIP Client Settings dialog opens with Profiles on the left and Active Connection on the right.
7. Confirm the data connection (Networking): In NTRIP Client Settings, tap 'Networking' to confirm the display is using your cellular/relay connection. The NTRIP client needs this link active to log in. (Label/flow varies by firmware.)
8. Create a new NTRIP profile: In the Profiles list tap the Plus (+) icon to add a profile, then select it to open NTRIP Profile Settings.
9. Enter the caster Server and Port: In the Server field enter host and port together: rtkpremium.xyz:2101 (Host rtkpremium.xyz, Port 2101). Protocol is NTRIP. Name the profile anything (e.g. 'Premium Positioning'). Leave Baud Rate at its default unless told otherwise.
10. Select the mountpoint / stream: In the Streams list, select the COMMON mountpoint. If it isn't shown, refresh/download the source table from the caster so it appears. (Ag Leader sometimes shows format names like RTCM3 - pick the COMMON entry; if prompted for a format and unsure, RTCM 3 / RTK-RTCM31 is the safe default for the GPS 6500.)
11. Enter YOUR NTRIP username and password: In Username and Password type the credentials from your welcome email - unique to you; entered into the display only and not stored on our servers.
12. Save the profile: Tap the green Check Mark to save. Use Cancel (X) only to discard.
13. Connect to the caster: Select your profile and tap 'Connect'. The Active Connection Status should change from 'Disconnected' to connected and show the Server and Stream. If login fails, re-check the Server/port, COMMON, and your credentials for typos.
14. Confirm RTK Fixed: Return to the run/guidance screen. Within \~a minute the GPS indicator should report a full RTK fix ('RTK Fixed', 'RTK', or a green GPS icon - varies by display/firmware). Once RTK Fixed you have sub-inch correction. If it sits on a lower-accuracy mode, confirm the cellular/relay link is up and the profile is Connected.

### If the fix will not hold

The GPS 6500 must have RTK/NTRIP capability enabled (an RTK unlock) for 'RTK External' and sub-inch correction; if 'RTK External' is missing or you can't fix, contact Premium Positioning. Button/status labels vary by InCommand model (800/1200) and firmware - use the nearest matching option.
